Sorry I haven't been round much due to the after effects of my wee operation.
the last week we have head a number of solar flares which when earth directed and accompanied by a CME can herald the arrival of the Aurora Borealis which in my location are referred to as the northern lights. With much activity I met up with a couple of frineds somewhere in deepest wildest Aberdeenshire in the hope of getting a few photos of "the Lady" dancing across our sky.
It wasnt to be "The Lady" wasnt for coming out to play so we made our own lights
Bruce is a bit of an expert and spun us an orb or two
and Debbi produced her new multi coloured flashing light stick
and with a bit of playing round with the two of them
we got a few rather interesting photos . thank you both for your company and efforts with the lights.
