Friday 26 May 2017

OH look a cloud, how dare it spoil our beautiful blue sky!

this warm spell is a great time to get the biscuit box of life out and start some new lives off, but what have I pulled out of the box and planted?
we will just have to wait and see once they come through and start to flourish.

galavanting in the sunshine

the sun has come out and so have all the clematis buds that I shared a week or so ago, unfortunately most are on the other side of my fence, they seem to prefer my neighbours garden!

but I must say they are beautiful. I hope the new ones I planted earlier this spring survive and are as beautiful as this one,

galavanting through fibromyalgia

a wee change of flavour for a change. In 2014 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and benign hypermobility syndrome, over the previous few years things had got a bit different for me, but as is my way \i just kept on keeping on and then once I had a name for my gremlins I started to have fun fighting them.

this is how breakfast should look,

when Fibro fog has the upper hand I have discovered that branflakes and banana don't taste great with orange juice on them instead of milk, but milk tastes fine from the glass!

also milk fits in an empty bowl no bother but the branflakes don't fit in the glass very well.

so don't try it the wrong way round fowks I have done the tests for you all and seriously the results are not good!

right that's that for now I will get back to the boring photo blogging tomorrow

galavanting in pots

3 years ago I planted a few pansies and violas in my pots
the pansies were mainly like this one

but this year I have this beauty, yes I know its probably a viral thing that causes the colour run but it is pretty

now this is another one I didn't have to begin with, and is either a very small pansy or a large viola, maybe they have inter pollinated.

and the origional type of viola now has a wee splodge on its chin and cheeks!

Monday 22 May 2017

galavanting in blue

in the  back garden

and in the front, bluebells that I didn't plant, they have appeared over the last few years and are spreading  hope they are all native and not invaders.

then also at the front, where I pulled out lots and lots of perennial cornflowers, they have come back and multiplied even more,

and 2 years after planting my first ever clematis is flowering in abundance. unfortunately most of the blooms are on the neighbours side of the fence!

my hosts couldn't see what I was gong to get photos of in their garden
well dandelion clocks in the process of opening

found one half and half

and one full open fighting with a bluebell for space

and their clematis was in full flower

and so was the honeysuckle... seek and you will find something to shoot.
