and this beauty is full of flowers just need a warm eveming for the scent to start to drift over the garden

Jasmine was uprooted from mums garden and rescued by me and is sat in a shallow tub in the back where she has flowered more and more each year since arriving 4 years ago

as for this beauty I will need to remove the flowers soon as i need my thyme for cooking!

and these native geraniums are going daft as usual by the back door, they seem to flourish in the shade against the north wall

my petunias are starting to grow love the purple of this one

but the hanging baskets still look very sparse, I know I should use more plants but beggars cant be choosers and I got left overs from friends this year  and only bought a few plants myself

hopefully they will tumble like they're supposed to and next month they will look even better.

garden galavants

Last year near the end of summer I purchased at a reduced price a half dead rose bush

this year it has 3 buds starting to unfurl, only problem is its not the lovely purple colour it was supposed to be, but is a beautiful deep velvety red
