galavanting through the archives

still stuck on the sofa trying to rest up so as I can go and play with the camera on Monday or Tuesday

the nights are drawing in and we've had very little "summer" but as the nights get longer there is more chance of catching this

I love to see the aurora dancing in the sky and try to capture it on camera. only thing is many people go hunting expecting to see brilliant colours but the camera picks up much more than the human eye,  what you wil see is much more muted, if your lucky you may see faint colours and if its a strong show you may see it in stronger colour but not likely as strong as the camera.

galavanting metal work!

Am I the only one that thinks this is a Roman soldier? if so why is he stood at the Glencoe ski center?

we certainly burned up the miles on this wet day from Arrochar to Glencoe and then over the Connel bridge!
